Each DLC has content that can be used in any hospital, some of which affects gameplay. Gamers these days don't know how good they have it! You realise people can care about things you don't care about? You don't have to care about them at all but other people are allowed to. Originally posted by Ziltoid:They don't really matter but once you've beaten a game they can add some interesting challenges - I'm sure this has been debated endlessly. I think it's rude that you would expect a game to stop adding more content (or that you think it should always be free) You wanted more reason to play more, pay for it if it includes additional content. Whether they have achievements with them or not, all DLC are going to add more gameplay and challenges (unless you think all DLC should just be cosmetic?) I just thought it was a bit rude when I found out I had to buy DLC to 'complete' all the 'challenges'. But I do sometimes like to smash a game that I enjoy and really try to beat every aspect of it and achievements can lead me to try things I wouldn't otherwise. You are right in that it's not a massive deal - I'm enjoying the game. It's simply that they've challenged people to do something that can't be done in the game and requires an extra purchase because they designed it that way. My whole issue isn't whether they matter or not - I'm not a huge collector but some people are and I think it's a bit rude to them. That's all gaming is, right? Beating a challenge set by the game or other players? Well, achievements can add extra challenges. They can challenge you to play through a game in different ways.
